Trustee (2008-)

As an educator and community member, I am an avid supporter of libraries in general and the Six Nations Public Library, in specific.

I was born and raised in Michigan and lived in the Buffalo area for a number of years before returning back to the Six Nations community. I am a graduate of several academic institutions, including the University of Michigan (BA, History), State University of New York at Buffalo (MA, American Studies), Trent University (PhD, Native Studies), Onkwawenna Kentyohkwa (Mohawk Language Adult Immersion) and Ongwehonwe Skills & Trades Training Centre (Cayuga Language Adult Immersion). I am an active researcher, focusing upon Six Nations land history, Native education and research ethics and methodologies.

I believe that SNPL is one of the best services in our community and I am honoured to be a part of the SNPL team.
