Free Trees for Kids with Neighborhood Forest registration link

Trees for Kids

Please DO NOT include teacher’s name unless you are the teacher and are completing the form as a class.
If you are a parent DO NOT enter teacher’s name.
You do not need to make an order or donate to receive free trees for your children.
You do not need to put your address unless you are making an order. Feel free to enter the library’s address. 1679 Chiefswood Road.

If you do not pick up your trees on the pick up day they will be donated.
Pick up at the library will hopefully be on April 22, 2025, Earth Day.

6N Film Club – 3rd Thursday of the month. Classic films and the best films you haven’t heard of 6:30 @Dajoh.
After School Arts & Crafts – Mondays 4:30 – 6PM at the library. Tweens, ages 10 -13, have an opportunity to grow in their individuality and creativity by participating in arts and crafts at the library. Must attend regularly as some projects will be on-going.
Colouring Contest – New contest every month. Choose a page, or submit all three for three entries. We also except our past colouring pages if you hand them in late they go into the next month’s draw! Submit by October 30, 2024 to be entered in to the draw.
Dial-A-Story – Call 519-900-0908 to listen to stories, language, games and songs.
Fit Lit – First Friday of the month at 12:30PM. Start your month out right by joining library staff on the first Friday of the month at 12:30pm to walk in Ohsweken. Discuss books, audiobooks, and podcasts. Share recommendations and have meaningful discussions
Haudenosaunee Language Meet – Once a month. Meet up virtually with others with a passion for learning our languages. Email 6languages@snpl.ca. Currently looking for language hosts, contact the library to volunteer!
HPL Bookmobile – Hamilton Public Library Bookmobile. Get your card, borrow or pick up holds from HPL.
Knitting Club – Get together with fellow knitter, crochetists and yarn artists. Weds 4:30PM at Dajoh. All yarn artists (crocheters) etc welcome.
Onondaga Language Study Circle – Sunday October 6 & 20. Subject to change. Contact the library to register.
Magic Machine Book Club – Meet monthly to discuss ebooks. 5PM at the library. Kobo ereaders are available to borrow.
Music Lessons with Music for the Spirit– Guitar Weds 3 – 5pm & Ukulele 4PM, Sat 10-11PM. Instruments available.
Our Beading Hearts – Keep up on your beading practice. Meet first and third Mondays at Dajoh from 6 – 8PM. Bring your own supplies. Limited supplies available.
Scavenger Hunt – Stop by the Library & complete our scavenger hunt to win a small prize! Scavenger Hunt changes monthly.
Tech Help – Schedule an appointment to learn how to use a device, laptop or computer.
Virtual Book Club – Tuesdays at 10AM on Zoom. Starting September 10th. Contact the library to register for September to read and discuss, “And Then She Fell” by Alicia Elliott. Still space available. Books available for pick up.
The library has Chiefswood Paddle Passes, Hamilton Civic Museum Family Passes, Grand River Conservation Area Passes and Ontario Park Passes available to borrow.
