The Library has catalogued over 1000 new items and counting in the past year. This includes puzzles, books, games, playaways, audiobooks on CD, braille and DVD’s. Check out the catalogue or contact us and be the first to borrow these new items.
Winter Art Show Submissions due by MARCH 5TH. Ages 13 and under. Submit online via form, email or drop off artwork and this printable form.
Library is still open! But….
- Due to the current situation with COVID-19 the Library building is not accessible to the public.
- Printing, faxing, scanning and book pick up is still offered.
- To save yourself time waiting outside consider emailing or phoning us ahead of time so that we can have your items ready for you.
- We also have Grab & Go Surprise Book Bags available. These are a selection of books based on genre and/or audience. Or you can fill out this form and we will make one especially for you.
- Have you checked out our growing Digital Archive Collection? It contains digitized images, items, news from the past relating specifically to the Haudenosaunee and our community. Make an appointment and have your old photos or documents scanned and added to the growing community collection.
- E-Resources are included with library membership. You will require your library number to access these resources . If you require a PIN please phone us. If you require help accessing these services, let us know. Links to these e-resources are located on the right hand side of website.
- You can download the Libby app to access books from Overdrive. You will need to choose Six Nations Public Library and enter your library card number.
- SNPL has made arrangements so that Six Nations members can also receive membership at Hamilton Public Library , Brantford Public Library County of Brant Public Library, Norfolk County Public Library, Haldimand County Public Library. Once you are a member you can access all of their services. This is a reciprocal agreement with these libraries so that their communities may also access our collection and services.
- Borrow a Chess Kit and learn to play chess or improve your skills. The Chess Institute of Canada is standing by to do virtual lessons with our members. Contact us to find out more.
