This means that anyone still using the Overdrive App will need to download the Libby App, which is available for free on Android, iOS, and Windows 10 devices. If you are a current Overdrive App user, you may have already noticed messages in the app prompting you to switch to the Libby App, along with a link to an overview page with FAQs.
This DOES NOT affect those using the library’s Kobo ereaders.
Libby by OverDrive is the easiest way to get started with digital books and audiobooks from Six Nations Public Library.
Libby provides free, easy access to digital books, audiobooks, and magazines from SNPL. Libby is available for free on Android, iOS (iPhone/iPad/iPod touch), and Windows 10 devices. After installing the app, open Libby and find your library. Then, enter your library card number. Browse the library’s collection and borrow a title. Borrowed titles appear on your Shelf and download to the app automatically when you’re connected to Wi-Fi, so you can read them when you’re offline. Check the settings in Libby to ensure you are downloading via WIFI or data.
