If you participate in the TD Summer Reading Club you can:
- do activities online, at home or in-person with the Club at the library
- choose to track time spent reading, books read OR track another activity
- collect stickers through reading books from the library
- read, write and talk about books
- participate in reading challenges & activities
- hang out with cool kids in the Club at the library
- maybe win a prize!
The TD Summer Reading Club at 6NPL comes with
- In-person weekly session, each session is different.
- Children pick their books, talk about their books and do an activity.
- Borrow books with 6NPL with no late fees!
- Collect stickers or beads
You can also choose to do the program completely online
- with ebooks from our collection accessed via the Libby App on a device.
- use the TD Reading Club website to access electronic books, videos and activities.

How does it work?
The TD Summer Reading Club is for children – even those little ones who cannot read yet.
Ages 0 – 13 years old.
Starting June 28, 2023 and ending with a Reading Celebration on August 23, 2023.
Starting July 5th between 10AM – 5PM (library hours).
Drop in Wednesdays for a self-directed activity with staff.
This year Music for the Spirit will be joining us. A registration form will need to be completed to take part in music lessons.
2023 July/August Schedule
- 10AM – 5PM Complete the weekly Club Activity, play a game or read stories.
- 10:30AM – 12PM Acoustic Guitar & Keyboards
- 1PM LEGO CLUB
- 2:15PM – 3:45PM Electric Guitar

TD Summer Reading Club Launch Day
Save the Date! Wednesday June 28, 2023!

Is the Club accessible?
The library is not accessible on the second floor. There are only stairs available.
The Club normally takes place upstairs and outside but if any Club Members find the stairs to be issue we will do the program downstairs.
We have braille, large print and audiobooks available and you can access more titles just by asking us.
We can also help register you for the Centre for Equitable Library Access to help provide even more access to reading materials, https://celalibrary.ca/register.
If you or a community member has any challenges accessing the library or library materials please let us know and we will help.
