How does it work?
The TD Summer Reading Club is for children – even those little ones who can’t read yet.
If you participate in the TD Summer Reading Club you can:
- do activities online, at home or in-person with the Club
- choose to either track the books you have read or time spent reading
- collect stickers through reading books
- collect beads in Read to Bead (more information coming soon)
- write about books and talk about books
- participate in reading challenges & activities
- hang out with cool kids in the Club
The TD Summer Reading Club at 6NPL comes with an in-person weekly session, each session is different.
Children pick their books, talk about their books and do an activity.
In-person, you can do the book club by borrowing physical books from the library, taking part in in-person Club meetings, while tracking and collecting your beads for Read to Bead (more information available soon).
TDSR Club Meets on Tuesdays & Thursdays beginning July 12th and finishing August 23rd.

The Club normally takes place upstairs and outside but if any Club Members find the stairs to be issue we will do the program downstairs.
We have braille, large print and audiobooks available and you can access more titles just by asking us.
We can also help register you for the Centre for Equitable Library Access to help provide even more access to reading materials, https://celalibrary.ca/register.
